Colombian President Gustavo Petro on Friday urged Colombians in the United States illegally to quit their jobs "immediately" and return to Colombia, further capitulating to the Trump administration's efforts to crack down on illegal immigrants from his country and others.
He added in a post on X that the Department of Social Prosperity would offer credits to returnees who enroll in its programs.
