Air Force One pulled out of a landing this morning at Bradley Field in Hartford because of poor visibility. The President's plane landed safely on the second try.
The FAA confirmed Air Force One missed the first landing, then went around a second try to land safely. Bradley Fields is the closest airport to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn. where Obama was to deliver the commencement address today.
White House spokesman Nick Shapiro confirmed the President landed at 10:05 a.m.
