US Senate to Vote at Noon Tuesday on Debt Bill -Reid

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate will vote on a bill to raise the country's debt ceiling on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. EDT, Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid said on Monday.

The measure will need 60 votes to pass the 100-seat body, Reid said. If it passes, it will head to President Barack Obama to sign into law. (Reporting by Andy Sullivan and Richard Cowan; Editing by Eric Beech)
