President Donald Trump's chances of winning re-election next year have shrunk with former Vice President Joe Biden now in the race, according to the results of one poll.
Key figures in the Zogby Analytics survey of likely Wisconsin voters:
- Biden leads Trump 50% to 40%.
- Biden leads Trump among voters under age 30, women, independents, minority groups, and voters in cities of all sizes.
- Voter groups that were key to Trump's 2016 victory — men (46% each), whites (Biden 48%, Trump 43%), and middle-aged voters (46% each) — are trending toward Biden.
- Biden also leads among votes aged 65+ (52% to 37%) and suburban women (45% to 42%).
Biden joined the presidential race Thursday after months of speculation and buildup.
