McCain: Killing Gadhafi ‘Fine’

Sen. John McCain says he sees nothing wrong with the United States or NATO killing or injuring Libyan tyrant Moammar Gadhafi, Politico reports.

"We should be taking out his command and control," McCain said on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” adding, "If he is killed or injured because of that, that's fine."

McCain's comments follow reports that one of Gadhafi's sons was killed in a U.S. airstrike — something that McCain said the United States could not confirm.

“I’m not sure what the situation was or what the outcome was,” McCain told CBS' Bob Schieffer. “We regret any loss of innocent life.”
