House Speaker John Boehner criticized President Barack Obama on Friday for his behavior regarding the protests in Wisconsin, saying
he was trying to “demagogue reform-minded governors" like Gov. Scott Walker,
Politico reports.
Obama has sent political operatives from his Organizing for America group to Wisconsin, causing Boehner to remark: “This is not the way to begin an ‘adult conversation’ about solutions to the big challenges facing our country. Rather, inciting protests against those who speak honestly about the challenges we face, the president and his advisers should lead.”
Boehner said the Wisconsin protests are being“fueled by President Obama’s own political machine.”
