Question: My blood pressure is usually about 100 over 60. Is this too low? Should I do something to raise it?
Dr. Hibberd's answer:
Blood pressure is a dynamic figure that generally increases with stress and increased heart rate, and decreases when you’re resting. The blood pressure level you have is fine, and nothing to worry about.
As long as your regular doctor is aware of your blood pressure level and it is not being kept artificially low by medications or an underlying health condition you can rest easy. You should not try to raise your blood pressure unless specifically directed by your medical doctor.
