Question: I have a friend who has myasthenia gravis, and is beginning to develop slurred speech. What supplements do you recommend for this disease?

Dr. Blaylock's Answer:

Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disorder frequently associated with flu vaccines. The most important thing is to reduce immune reaction. This can be done by increasing intake of omega-3 oils, reducing omega-6 oil intake, using Jatoba extract,  and avoiding vitamins that are immune stimulants, such as beta-carotene and astaxanthin.

Luteolin has been shown to reduce immune overreactions and this is found in artichoke extract.

Curcumin and quercetin also reduce the immune reaction of MG and reduce inflammation.
