Labels on bottled tea tout high amounts of antioxidants, but a new study suggests the healthiest teas with the highest amounts of antioxidants are brewed in your own home. "There is a huge gap between the perception that tea consumption is healthy and the actual amount of the healthful nutrients — polyphenols — found in bottled tea beverages. Our analysis of tea beverages found that the polyphenol content is extremely low," said study researcher Shiming Li in an article published by LiveScience.com.
