Fox News' chief political anchor Bret Baier noted a ravaging run of hurricanes, wildfires and an earthquake is taking on biblical proportions — and the Twitter-sphere took his point.

In the aftermath of a  magnitude 8.2 tremor in Mexico Thursday, he tweeted:

Others felt similarly:

Writer Steve Silberman posted an "apocalyptic impage of people playing golf in Oregon as a wildfire burns" to drive home Baier's point.

Elsewhere, Twitter posts of Irma's chaos were chilling.

And the latest bad news was Mexico's earthquake, which didn't register as strongly with U.S. readers consumed with Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, was also heartbreaking.

There were calls for prayers — for everyone,

but some religious-minded posters saw what's come as a clear sign of what lies ahead.
