CNN Exit Polls: GOP Voters Feel Betrayed in Ohio, NC

Republicans voting in Ohio and North Carolina Tuesday said that they felt betrayed by the Republican Party and that they would rather have an outsider in the White House than an experienced candidate.

Here are the results of exit polls by CNN:

Do you feel betrayed by the GOP?

North Carolina:
  • Yes: 56 percent.
  • No: 40 percent.
Ohio:
  • Yes: 57 percent.
  • No: 38 percent.
Would you rather have an experienced GOP candidate or outsider in the White House?

North Carolina:
  • Outsider: 54 percent.
  • Experienced candidate: 38 percent.
Ohio:
  • Outsider: 50 percent.
  • Experienced: 43 percent.
