National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn is described as "deeply upset" and "disgusted" by President Donald Trump's statements about the violence at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.

The description of Cohn comes from New York Times' White House correspondents Maggie Haberman and Glenn Thrush.

Their tweets followed a heated press conference where Trump once again said both sides were to blame for turning the demonstration in Charlottesville violent, The Hill noted.
