Poll: Trump Leading in Iowa, NH, SC, and Pennsylvania

Donald Trump is the top pick of GOP voters in in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Pennsylvania, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz grabbing the second spot, except in the Granite State, where Cruz is in a tight race with Ohio Gov. John Kasich, new polls show.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is in third position, also with an exception in New Hampshire, where former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has moved up in one survey, and where Rubio shares the position with Kasich in another.

In Iowa, an NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll the breakdown goes like this: 
  • Trump: 32 percent
  • Cruz: 25 percent
  • Rubio: 18 percent
  • Dr. Ben Carson: 8 percent
  • Bush: 4 percent
Kasich, former businesswoman Carly Fiorina, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, New Jersey Gov. Chris Chriistie, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee all come in with 2 percent.

The margin of error among likely GOP voters is 4.6 percent

In New Hampshire, the same pollsters break it down this way: 
  • Trump: 31 percent
  • Cruz: 12 percent
  • Rubio: 11 percent
  • Kasich: 11 percent
  • Bush: 8 percent
  • Christie: 7 percent
  • Carson: 5 percent
  • Fiorina: 4 percent
  • Paul: 4 percent
  • Huckabee: 1 percent
The margin of error among likely GOP voters is plus or minus 4 percentage points.

In a Suffolk University Poll of New Hampshire, the results come in this way: 
  • Trump: 26.6 percent
  • Kasich: 12 percent
  • Cruz: 11.8 percent
  • Bush: 11.2 percent
  • Rubio: 9.6 percent
  • Christie: 5.6 percent
  • Carson: 4.8 percent
  • Fiorina: 4 percent
  • Paul: 1.6 percent
  • Huckabee: 0.4 percent
  • Former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore: 0.2 percent
In the NBC/WSJ/Marist polling in South Carolina, the results show: 
  • Trump: 36 percent
  • Cruz: 20 percent
  • Rubio: 14 percent
  • Bush: 9 percent
  • Carson: 8 percent
  • Huckabee: 2 percent
  • Christie: 2 percent
  • Paul: 1 percent
  • Kasich: 1 percent
  • Fiorina: 1 percent
The margin of error is plus or minus 3.7 percent among likely Republican voters.

And in a new poll in Pennsylvania by the Franklin & Marshall College, the breakdown in the GOP race is:
  • Trump: 24 percent
  • Cruz: 14 percent
  • Rubio: 11 percent
  • Carson: 5 percent
  • Christie: 5 percent
  • Bush: 5 percent
  • Kasich: 3 percent
  • Fiorina: 2 percent
  • Huckabee: 2 percent
  • Paul: 2 percent
