Frank: Feds Need More Bankruptcy Powers

Barney Frank (D-Mass.), the head of the House Financial Services, tells CNBC that the government needs more authority when it comes to winding down enormous non-bank companies, like General Motors.

"We need to come up with a way to wind down nonbanks without it being all or nothing." Frank told CNBC. "We may have to do that with GM. I hope we don't have to."
