Robot Aids Autistic Children

Autistic children in England have a new friend — Kaspar the robot.

In an attempt to socialize autistic children and develop their interpersonal skills, a pre-school in Stevenage, north of London, has enlisted the help of Kaspar. The friendly robot is programmed to express human emotion like smiling, frowning, laughing, blinking, and waving his harms.
