Trump Schedules Rally in Arizona Next Week

President Donald Trump will travel to Phoenix, Arizona for a rally next week, The Hill is reporting.

The event will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Phoenix Convention Center, according to the website. Word of the rally comes as Trump faced criticism over his remarks blaming both sides for violence at a white supremacist demonstration in Charlottesville, Virginia, The Hill noted.

It also follows Trump raising the possibility he may pardon former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio who was found guilty of criminal contempt.

"I am seriously considering a pardon for Sheriff Arpaio," Trump told Fox News on Sunday.
