Willie Nelson Plays During GOP Convention Event

Country music legend Willie Nelson is scheduled to play at a concert during the Republican convention in Tampa.

Nelson headlines an Aug. 29 performance hosted by Got Your 6, a nonpartisan group that helps military veterans, Politico reports.

Got Your 6 will hold an event at the Democratic convention a week later in Charlotte. That concert will be headlined by the rapper Flo Rida.

The money raised by both events will be donated to veteran support programs.
