Singer Pink used Twitter on Monday to stridently defend the decision of husband Carey Hart to take their 2-year-old daughter Willow for a ride on a motocross bike.
Hart posted pictures of the ride on Instagram four days ago, and people instantly started
criticizing his parenting for taking such a young child on a motorcycle, MSN reported, even though Hart is a retired motocross racer.

In Twitter exchanges, which Pink termed “fun” at one point, the Grammy-winning singer stood up for hers and Hart’s parenting choices, pointing out that each person gets to parent his or her own child.
Some people posted to Pink and Hart’s Twitter feeds in defense of the taking the 2-year-old on the bike.
Hart wrote on Instagram beside the pictures, “Been waiting for this day for a very long time. Willz went for her 1st ride on my motorcycle around the pits today. She was pumped the whole time. When we stopped, she gave me a big hug and said it was fun, thank you Papa. That's my girl.”
Many people wrote on the Instagram feed of their own experiences at young ages on bikes and to support the celebrity couple.
“Don’t worry about the haters,” wrote one fan. “You and Pink are loving, engaged parents. What more can a kid ask for? People are so quick to judge, but when people ACTUALLY need someone to step up, they say nothing. Best to y’all!”
