Irishman Joseph Griffin's GoPro selfie slip-up has gone viral online, with more than 7 million people tuning in to watch the dad film his entire Las Vegas vacation with the camera pointed the wrong way.
"So . . . Gave my Dad my GoPro while he was in Las Vegas. I did not, however, instruct him on how to use it, so my dad being my dad . . . didn't know which way to point the f***ing thing," Griffin's son Evan captioned a YouTube video of his dad's epic GoPro fail.
Joseph Griffin was probably pretty disappointed when he got home from Vegas and realized his video footage of the Strip and the interesting sights was actually a seemingly endless selfie video of his own face.
"And that there is Trump Tower, the same color of his hair," Griffin says from his hotel room, with the camera focused not out the window but instead on a shirtless Joseph.
Occasionally, Griffin thinks he's taking a selfie, and that's the only time he actually captures the Las Vegas landscape.
"Does it get more dad than this?! Haha," one person commented on the video.
"Absolutely priceless!! Wish I could thumbs-up a 1,000 times," another wrote.
The four-minute video is all pulled from Griffin's first day of Las Vegas footage because he
later broke the camera, Evan Griffin told Irish site JOE.ie.
"All the footage is only from the first day 'cause my dad later took it swimming without the waterproof case and fried it so missed out on the Grand Canyon and everything, haha," Evan Griffin said.
