Jim Kelly, former Buffalo Bills quarterback and Hall of Famer, has finished chemotherapy after six weeks of the treatment during his ongoing battle with oral cancer.
From the beginning, Kelly's wife Jill and daughter Erin has kept fans and supporters updated on Jim's condition via social media, and on Tuesday she posted a new picture of her and her husband, declaring, "As of right now, this very moment, Jim is DONE with chemotherapy!"
Jill also hastagged the post with the familiar "#prayersforJK" and quoted the Bible, writing, "Greater is HE that is in US than he that is in this world. No weapon formed against us shall prosper . . . (Isaiah 54:17)."

Erin also posted a picture of the big day to her Instagram account, which showed the family doing aloe vera shots to celebrate.
According to CBS Sports, Kelly was diagnosed with oral cancer in June 2013. He underwent surgery to have part of his upper jaw removed, which was a success for nine months. He was diagnosed again in March of this year, however, and began chemotherapy in early April.
The family reports that he has radiation treatments left to go. He's in good spirits, they report, and even making friends with others who are battling the disease.
"JK and Barry Lillis. Both battling cancer. Comparing treatment protocols. Laughing. Encouraging each other," Jill Kelly wrote alongside a picture of Jim on Monday just before the end of the chemo.
