Chrissy Teigen tried her hand at weather reporting this past week when she stopped by a local news station in Houston, and it's safe to say it doesn't look like the supermodel will be leaving the catwalk anytime soon.
After posting a clip of the segment on her Instagram page, she wrote, humbly, "Learned another job I can't do."
Teigen, the wife of musician John Legend and inspiration for his song "All of Me," stopped by the
KTRK-TV station to promote her upcoming projects, including a cookbook and a new TV gig.
She announced in her interview that she will be co-host of ABC's "FabLife" show, premiering Sept. 14, with fellow supermodel Tyra Banks, fashion expert Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk, and DIY expert Leah Ashley.
Following that, Teigen will publish a cookbook in the spring.
"I am using John’s fried chicken and mac and cheese recipes yet putting my own mark on them," Teigen, 29, recently
told People magazine while hosting a South Beach party for a prominent rum brand. "For one thing, I am making the mac and cheese much creamier. But we love working together in the kitchen!"
"I will use some of my mom’s great recipes I loved while growing up in Thailand and some of my dad’s heavier dishes from Norway, where he is from," she added.
She and Legend are coming up on their second anniversary as a married couple, and she related that, "It’s so much easier than I thought to be married . . . John and I are really happy. We watch marriage reality shows and don’t get it when other people aren’t happy."
"Someday I hope to make enough money to buy us the place in Lake Como [Italy] where we were married," she continued. "That is my dream."
