Chris Pratt's Burt Macklin Ready to Take Over for Comey

Pratt, better known today for as star of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise, played the character Andy Dwyer on the former hit NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation," that ran from 2009 to 2015, noted Entertainment Weekly.

While many expressed surprise when President Donald Trump fired Comey Tuesday evening, Pratt apparently saw a job opening.

"Dwyer, fans will remember, had a ridiculous crime-fighting alter ego, Burt Tyrannosaurus Macklin of the FBI," Dan Heching, of Entertainment Weekly, wrote. "And that agent is available for duty."

Pratt tweeted out a short video of the Macklin character with the message: "Just lemme know."

"FBI director would be quite a career reversal for the 'Parks and Rec' fantasy character, who was fired from the agency after being 'framed for stealing the president's rubies,'" The Hill writer Tristan LeJeune said.
