ESPN’s Britt McHenry has been suspended for one week after she went on a tirade at a towing truck company employee, during which she made fun of the woman’s education, teeth, and weight.

McHenry later went on Twitter to apologize.

“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things,” McHenry posted. “As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”

Warning: Video contains foul language. Story continues below.

“It makes my skin crawl even being here,” McHenry said on the video, to which the woman responded, “Well, let’s get you out of here quickly.”

McHenry responded, “Yep, that’s all you care about, is just taking people’s money. With no education, no skill set, just wanted to clarify that.”

As the video, posted to LiveLeak, went viral, many went online to express their displeasure at McHenry’s tirade.
