What Happened to American Men?

By    |   Thursday, 26 July 2012 02:27 PM

Let us begin by looking at our movie industry and the current cast of American Superheroes. The new Spiderman — English. The new Superman — English. X-Men’s Wolverine — Australian. The Green Lantern — Canadian. And finally Batman . . . English as well.

The point is, manufacturing has been outsourced to countries like China and now the making of manly men is also being outsourced. We are evidently making American heroes in foreign countries and importing them as well.

What happened to the golden age of America? A time when the big three automakers were American and the standard was Cadillac. Stars on screen were also American heroes in their personal lives as well . . . people like Jimmy Stewart (who flew over 50 bombing missions in WW2), Glenn Ford, Audie Murphy, and others.

Who are the heroic American men today and why don’t they step forward when the Republic is at stake like never before? I submit that more men like Donald Trump need to step out and take on the Obama machine and the liberal media now before it is too late. Why? Because men like Donald Trump know that they built their own businesses in spite of Government interference. Trump has seen the travails of his fellow Americans as they continue to suffer under the weight of the growing chains of overt socialism that is destroying the middle class.

If Government builds businesses, why do we need entrepreneurs? President Barack Obama has repeatedly stated, “There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something. If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” If the President is right, then who needs the middle class or the top one percent at all? If the President is right, the middle class and the top one percent are simply parasites that need to be eliminated for the good of “the people.”

Here is the problem: he is wrong . . . dead wrong! So wrong that his policies will undoubtedly kill the Republic as we know it. Our fearless servicemen did not die on Omaha Beach for our great country to die from within and in this way. President Lincoln could not have been more right when he said, “America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.” This is exactly what is happening right now!

Donald Trump might be a showman. He is certainly an entrepreneur but most of all he is an American hero. Donald Trump loves his country and is willing to express views that others are thinking but are afraid to voice because of the virus called political correctness. We all need to be a little more heroic as the final 100 days to the 2012 election nears. We need to finally ask the President to answer the tough questions and support those who question him. The only power Americans have is at the voting booth. We cannot afford to get this one wrong . . .  so use your power wisely.

Here is the question each of us must ask ourselves: We have the worst economy since the Great Depression, the weakest foreign policy since Jimmy Carter, and the highest unemployment since WWII. Why is there even a question as to how this President can even be considered for re-election? As a registered Democrat and someone who previously voted for Obama, my decision is made. On behalf of my children and future generations to come, I will cast my vote for Mitt Romney and encourage all to do the same.
