Comedian Jay Mohr is defending the "fat-shaming" comments he made about Alyssa Milano by saying he was just joking after the actress called him out on Twitter last week.
Mohr, who hosted NASCAR's Sprint Cup Series awards ceremony at Wynn Las Vegas on Dec. 6, commented on Milano's appearance in a radio interview at the event.
"She was one of the presenters. ...
She's very tiny. In height," the 43-year-old said, according to the New York Daily News. "It seems like she had a baby and said, 'I don’t really give a s—' ... I read it on her gut."

Mohr, who's appeared on television and in films like "Jerry Maguire," went on to refer to Milano as "Melissa-what's-her-name."
"Melissa-what's-her-name was very nice but didn’t look so great," he said. "Somebody sat in the director’s chair and was not wearing Spanx and I was like, 'Jesus Christ.'"
Milano, the 41-year-old former "Charmed" star who now serves as host of "Project Runway: All Stars," didn’t immediately respond, but took the high road on Twitter last week.
Milano's "Charmed" co-star Rose McGowan also came to her defense.
Mohr attempted to defend his comments this week by saying he was joking.
Milano and husband David Bugliari welcomed their first child, a boy named Milo, in August 2011. Mohr and wife Nikki Cox also have a young son together, and the comedian has another child from his first marriage.
