Most Democrats believe former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is more likely to bring real change to Washington than her closest challenger Vermont independent Sen. Bernie Sanders, according to a
New York Times/CBS News poll.
The results, according the poll:
- Clinton: 62 percent
- Sanders 51 percent

- Clinton: 52 percent
- Sanders: 33 percent
Confidence in regulating big banks:
- Clinton: 70 percent
- Sanders: 65 percent
Make right decisions on gun laws:
- Clinton: 76 percent
- Sanders: 57 percent
Sanders fares better, though, on believability.
Believes what he/she says:
- Sanders: 62 percent
- Clinton: 52 percent
The nationwide poll was conducted Nov. 6-10 and talked to 1,495 adults, 418 of them Democratic primary voters, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 6 percentage points for Democratic voters.
