Ahead of the third presidential debate, MSNBC interviewer Kristen Welker asked members of a crowd in Las Vegas why they were backing their chosen candidates, and one person replied "No vaccines."
Mediaite posted a video of the segment, in which Welker asked a supporter of Republican candidate Donald Trump named Judy what issue matters most to her. Judy said, "There's so many. Veterans' care. No vaccines."
Trump has referenced the idea that vaccinating children causes autism, according to a February report by The New York Times. However, a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said that there is no link between vaccines or the ingredients in vaccines and autism.
Trump has frequently addressed care for veterans. He has said our female military vets are "the forgotten people" and they deserve more programs to focus on their needs.
The real-estate mogul has strong support among the military and with veterans; an NBC News poll put him ahead of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton with those groups, by 19 points.
In the talk with Welker, Judy added praise for Trump, saying, "I think he did a great job at the last debate. I don't think the polls are showing what Americans are really feeling, and I just want to see him talk about his policies. I think he's got an amazing plan to run this country like a business."
