Rep. Schiff: Trump Tweet 'Beneath the Dignity' of the President

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., responded to a slam from President Donald Trump in which he called Schiff "sleazy" on Twitter Monday morning.

Sleazy Adam Schiff, the totally biased Congressman looking into "Russia," spends all of his time on television pushing the Dem loss excuse!

Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, responded that Trump's comment was "beneath the dignity" of his presidential office.

Other members of the Trump administration have targeted Schiff. One of Trump's top advisers, Kellyanne Conway, said Schiff appears on TV more than he works on hearings into the intelligence committee's Russia probe.

On Sunday, Schiff criticized the president on Twitter, responding to a report from White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci that Trump is not convinced that Russia interfered in the U.S. election.
