Reclaim America Rally Organizer: Nation in Trouble, Needs Change

By    |   Friday, 15 November 2013 07:44 PM EST

Next week's Reclaim America Now rally in Washington, D.C., is designed to tell the nation's lawmakers that America is in deep trouble and things must change, says rally organizer Larry Klayman.

"The people are rising up, they've had it,"' Klayman, founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, told Joe Concha, guest host of "The Steve Malzberg Show" Friday on Newsmax TV.

Story continues below video.

"Not just with Obama and all of his scandals and Obamacare and NSA spying and everything else — they've had it also with some Republican leaders as well and we're going to make our voice known."

The rally, set for 10 a.m. on Nov. 19 in Lafayette Park, across from the White House, is a call to action, according to Klayman.

"When the grievances aren't heard, as the Declaration of Independence said, it's time for the people to alter, amend, or abolish their system of government [for a] new form of government," he said.

"We want the government responsible for the people … It's a little bit like [Benjamin] Franklin said in the days leading up the Revolution, either we all hang together or separately we'll hang, because this country is going down the drain, it's going down the drain quickly."
