CNS News' Jeffrey: More Obamacare Problems to Come

By    |   Thursday, 31 October 2013 04:55 PM EDT

Americans jolted by the problems with the Affordable Care Act should brace themselves for further healthcare nightmares, according to Terry Jeffrey, editor-in-chief of CNS News, a conservative news website.

"All of the horrible things that are unfolding with the rollout of Obamacare are fixing in people's minds how outrageous this really is, and there's more to come. There's a lot more to come," Jeffrey told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Story continues below video.

"In an ironic way, it's a good thing that things are so disastrous right now so people are getting a taste of it."

Jeffrey said the staggering problems are an indication of why President Barack Obama delayed the employer mandate.

"Had they gone ahead . . . there's no doubt that a lot of businesses in this country would be downloading employees onto the exchanges as well as downsizing their employee full time roles," he said.

Jeffrey believes Obama is trying to move the United States "as deeply as he possibly can, irretrievably into socialism" while he is president.

"He's very sorry he doesn't have both houses of Congress like he had back in 2010. In my view he's got some very weak Republican leaders he's dealing with in the House and after what happened in the shutdown debacle — it was a debacle from the way the Republicans caved — he thinks he can get more out of these guys."
