President Donald Trump in an interview that aired Tuesday on Fox News said he sleeps about 4 to 5 hours a night.
"I'm working long hours. Right up until 12:00, 1:00 in the morning," Trump told Bill O'Reilly on the "O'Reilly Factor."
He wakes up at 5 a.m. to read the papers and see "what's going on."
In the wide-ranging interview, Trump also criticized the media for "the lies."
"I have never— I call it you know, fake news. Some of the networks and some of the papers, it's so dishonest. The level of dishonesty, where they'll take a story that should be good, I know good from bad," he said.
When O'Reilly asked whether it hurts his feelings that they are making him out to be a "hater," Trump said "No because they always do it."
"The first thing they do with the Republicans or conservatives is the racist card. They pull off the racist card," he said. "They always do. Not just me. They do it with everybody. And I see that and once you know that, you feel a lot better about it."
Trump also talked about how amazing it felt to be in the White House.
"I must tell you, the other day, I walked into the main entrance of the White House and I said to myself, 'This is sort of amazing.' Then, I walked into the Oval Office, which, and I have had the head of Ford and General Motors and all of these people, as they come to see me, I want to hear from them, and they walk into the Oval Office, and they have beautiful offices, and they feel the same way."
