Donald Trump is leading the latest
NBC News/Wall Street Journal national poll, with Sen. Ted Cruz rising to second place.
Here are the numbers from the poll released Sunday:
• Donald Trump: 27 percent
• Ted Cruz: 22 percent
• Marco Rubio: 15 percent
• Ben Carson: 11 percent
• Jeb Bush: 7 percent
• Carly Fiorina: 5 percent
• Mike Huckabee: 3 percent
• John Kasich: 2 percent
• Rand Paul: 2 percent
• All other candidates: Under 1 percent
Carson was leading the poll when it was conducted in late October, but has fallen to fourth as national security issues have dominated the race.
The poll of Republican primary voters was conducted December 6-9, and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 4.9 percentage points.
