Donald Trump unleashed Twitter attacks Thursday on Republican rivals Ted Cruz and Jeb Bush — accusing the Texas senator of "sleazy and dishonest" tactics in South Carolina and bashing the former Florida governor for bringing in his older brother on the campaign trail next week.
Here's what Trump said about Cruz:
Push polls, which are conducted under the guise of survey research, are used to sway voters using loaded or manipulative questions.
Trump accused Cruz's campaign of using a similar approach during the Iowa caucuses — and in last week's debate in New Hampshire,
he called out the first-term senator for messages his campaign put out saying that Ben Carson was dropping out and urging Iowa caucuses-goers to vote for him instead.
Regarding Jeb Bush, here's Trump's tweet:
Trump's post came after the Bush campaign announced that former President George W. Bush would be on the trail with his younger brother on Monday in the Palmetto State.
The former commander-in-chief was featured in a radio spot that began running on local stations in both South Carolina and New Hampshire on Sunday during the Super Bowl.
"I know Jeb," George Bush said in the spot. "I know his good heart and his strong backbone."
Their mother, Barbara Bush, campaigned for her second-eldest son last week in New Hampshire.
