NYPD Steps Up Security at Military Recruiting Sites After Tennessee Attack

Thursday, 16 July 2015 06:50 PM EDT

The New York Police Department said on Thursday it added security at local military recruiting stations and other sensitive locations but cited no specific threat.

The beefed-up security came after four U.S. Marines were killed by a gunman who opened fire at two military offices in Chattanooga, Tennessee, before being fatally shot.
