Former Republican California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger officially announced that he's endorsing Ohio governor John Kasich for president.
Schwarzenegger made the announcement on Sunday via a Snapchat video, which also featured Kasich. "I want John Kasich to be the next nominee of the Republicans and also to be the next president of the United States," said Schwarzenegger before showing the Republican contender.
"Thanks, Arnold. Love you, man," responded Kasich.

Despite succeeding Donald Trump as host of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," Schwarzenegger has indicated for months that he was leaning toward Kasich.
Several days before the New Hampshire primary, Schwarzenegger did a "tele-town hall" with the Ohio governor and told Kasich, "You are the Terminator." Schwarzenegger had noted that Kasich had done 100 town halls up to that point in his campaign.
Schwarzenegger also joined Kasich at a Columbus, Ohio, rally on Sunday. Earlier in the day, Kasich posted a video on his Twitter account of the two stepping off of a bus to an excited crowd.
The former governor's announcement comes as moderate Republicans continue to try to lower the heat on Donald Trump's presidential campaign. Earlier this week, 2012 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney called Trump a "phony" and a "fraud."
It also comes ahead of two important dates in the presidential race: Michigan's primary on March 8, and Ohio's 66-delegate primary on March 15.
