Friday, Donald Trump retweeted a message featuring a photoshopped photo of rival GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush, standing outside of New York's Trump Tower and holding a "vote for Trump" sign, posted by Twitter user calling himself "Donald Trumpovitz" and using the Twitter name @WhiteGenocideTM.
Trump's campaign hasn't yet responded with a request for comment, reports
Politico, but the retweet followed a string of messages that criticized Bush, calling him "low-energy."
According ot the retweet:
The "Donald Trumpovitz" account claims the user is from "Jewmerica," and contains a link to a pro-Adolf Hitler documentary and a red and black banner proclaiming "Get the [Expletive] Out of My Country."
Further, the profile photo used is of George Lincoln Rockwell, the founder of the American Nazi Party, shown on the October 1961 edition of "The National Police Gazette" thumbing his nose.
The caption on the profile photo reads, "The Man who wants to be Hitler," and the account itself contains several posts concerning Syrian refugees, African-American crimes, and more.
The retweet is already coming under fire, including from The Federalist co-founder Sean Davis:
Bush's national press secretary Kristy Campbell replied to Davis, calling the retweet:
