Advertisers are preparing commercials to be shown before and after Monday's first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Variety reports.
The show business magazine says that one company — GoDaddy.com, a web-domain service — will run an ad during pre-debate coverage on CNN and post-event analysis on CBS and Fox News Channel.
In the spot, a person with the face of the company's "GoDaddy Guy" tells a group of patriotic Americans they can use company's services to turn their own ideas into reality, according to Variety.
"There is no other candidate that's more affordable," the character says in the spot.
The airtime for ads on the major networks is expensive. CBS wants between $200,000 and $225,000 for a 30-second ad during its post-debate coverage, Variety says.
