While some in Hollywood would prefer to keep their religious beliefs to themselves, a number of famous actors and actresses are proudly public about their Christian faith.
As Tyler Perry told Beliefnet, "I'm not afraid to have a character say, 'I am a Christian,' or 'I believe in God,' because I think they represent real people on this Earth."

1. Angus T. Jones
Before quitting "Two and a Half Men," one of the most popular shows on TV, Jones rediscovered his Christian faith, called the show "filth," and referred to himself as a "paid hypocrite."
2. Angela Bassett
The Oscar nominee once told the Los Angeles Times that her faith moved her to tears. "When you realize how small you are, but how much he loved you. That he, Jesus, would die, the son of God himself on Earth, then you … you just weep," Bassett said.
3. Kristin Chenoweth
The actress best known for her roles on Broadway and on TV doesn't back down from controversy.
