Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Tuesday warned Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., on Twitter to not "screw up" tax reform by voting against the GOP budget proposal.
He also said Paul saved Obamacare by "trashing" the Graham-Cassidy-Heller-Johnson bill.
Graham was responding to a tweet by Paul that said Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Graham were "torpedoing the budget by insisting on busting the budget caps for more spending."
Paul, who is concerned about higher spending levels, followed up his original tweet with two more posts, saying, "I have told the White House and GOP leaders that if they simply stick to their own caps, the rest of the Budget is fine and I'll vote yes. It is a simple, but important, change they could easily make. The ball is in their court."
Paul voted Tuesday to start debate on the fiscal 2018 budget, but has been tight-lipped on what his final vote will be later this week.
