Trump: Senate Needs to Start Tax Reform Legislation 'ASAP'

President Donald Trump sent tweets on a number of topics Friday morning, including a criticism of Republicans for their attempts to repeal and replace Obamacare that "didn’t happen."

Republicans, sorry, but I've been hearing about Repeal & Replace for 7 years, didn't happen! Even worse, the Senate Filibuster Rule will....

The president also blamed the filibuster rule in the Senate for the lack of success on repealing Obamacare, calling the rule a “death wish” for Republicans.

Then the president urged Republicans to get to work on tax reform legislation.

Republicans must start the Tax Reform/Tax Cut legislation ASAP. Don't wait until the end of September. Needed now more than ever. Hurry!

The president appeared to show this week that he is more willing to work with Democrats, after striking a deal on the debt ceiling with Democratic leaders.
