MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski said Thursday President Donald Trump, in his pre-political days, gave her a "handsy" on-set hug that was "pornographic."
In an interview on ABC's "The View," Brzezinski was asked about what co-host Whoopi Goldberg described as Trump's "obsession" with her, referring to a June Twitter tirade in which Trump called her "crazy Mika" and revealed an encounter in which he claimed "she was bleeding badly from a face-lift."
The remarks start at the 2:20-minute mark.
"It's been that way from the very beginning," Brzezinski's co-host and fiancé Joe Scarborough responded. "And people are like, 'Why is he always so mean to Mika?'"
"The View" co-host Joy Behar then speculated it was because Trump is "attracted to her."
Scarborough recounted "even before he ran for president, he would walk up to her on the set . . ." and got up to demonstrate — at which point Brzezinski warned: "Don't do it, it's pornographic."
A startled panel asked, "Pornographic?" to which Scarborough replied, "No, not pornographic. It's a funny way to hug."
But Brzezinski at first responded, "kinda," then clarified: "It's handsy."
