Halperin Officially Out at NBC News, MSNBC

NBC News and MSNBC have officially cut their ties with Mark Halperin, CNN is reporting.

A spokesman for MSNBC confirmed that the networks have terminated their contract with the political analyst and contributor following about a dozen allegations of sexual harassment and assault against assault him, according to CNN.

The alleged incidents are said to have occurred while Halperin was working for ABC News. He left that network in 2007.
