A super PAC opposing Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh has released a video showing the GOP congressman telling business owners to rally their employees by saying they will lose their jobs if President Barack Obama is reelected on Nov. 6.

"If you run, manage or own a company, tell your employees!” Walsh says in the video, produced by the CREDO super PAC, the Chicago Sun-Times reported on Wednesday. “What was the CEO this week that said: ‘If Obama is reelected, I may have to let all of you go next year? If Obama's reelected, if the Democrats take Congress, I may not be able to cover your health insurance next year.’

“If there's ever a year where people who run, manage, or own their companies are going to energize their employees, it better be this year,” Walsh adds. “We're up against it."

Walsh is battling Iraqi war veteran Tammy Duckworth, who lost both her legs in combat, in a heated race to represent the redrawn 8th Congressional District. Walsh has strongly opposed the Affordable Care Act.

According to the Sun-Times, CREDO operates the takedownwalsh.com website. It also is known to have video-recorded several of Walsh’s campaign appearances, though it is not known when the video of this particular speech was taken.

The super PAC has spent $165,437 in the race, the Sun-Times reports.
