An anonymous donor has paid for a minor league soccer team in Oyster Bay, N.Y., to wear jerseys advertising Mitt Romney.

The front of the jerseys for FC New York, which plays in National Premier Soccer League, will feature Romney’s name and his campaign slogan, “Believe in America.” The league stands in the fourth level of the U.S. soccer hierarchy.

Romney’s name will appear on the pink and white jerseys for the rest of the season, which lasts another nine days.

The anonymous donor, who isn’t linked to the campaign, approached the team, it said in a press release, according to The Hill. “I love futbol; I love America; I am a proud Latino-American who believes Mitt Romney needs to be our next president," the donor said in a statement released by the club.

The club's coach joked about the sponsorship. “I am glad we have a kit sponsor that people all over America recognize, but right now I am looking for a victory against Red Bull," Coach Elvin Vasquez said in the release. "I want to win as much as Mr. Romney does.”
