Mitt Romney’s campaign will use a campaign bus to help deliver supplies to those affected by Hurricane Sandy, Breitbart.com reported.

The campaign announced that rather than having Ann Romney speak at an event in New Hampshire, they will send a campaign bus to aid with relief efforts.

The campaign also announced that it is cancelling campaign events on Monday and Tuesday for Romney and running mate Paul Ryan in Florida and Wisconsin.

Urgent Poll: One Week Until Election Day. Obama or Romney?

"Out of sensitivity for the millions of Americans in the path of Hurricane Sandy, we are canceling tonight's events with Governor Romney in Wisconsin and Congressman Ryan in Melbourne and Lakeland, Florida, Gail Gitcho, Romney communications director said in a statement.

“We are also canceling all events currently schedule for both Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan on Tuesday. Governor Romney believes this is a time for the nation and its leaders to come together to focus on those Americans who are in harm’s way. We will provide additional details regarding Governor Romney's and Congressman Ryan's schedule when they are available."

The Obama campaign also canceled events and headed to the White House situation room.

President Barack Obama has "real responsibilities" to make sure the federal government is ready for the storm when it hits, senior advisor David Axelrod said, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Obama is going to lose "a bunch of campaign time," Axelrod told reporters in a conference call, but "that’s as it has to be."

"For us, it’s not a matter of optics, it’s a matter of responsibility," he said.
