The GOP talent pool is brimming, as the party looks toward picking its next presidential candidate, says Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus.

Names such as Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Chris Christie, give Priebus immense hope for 2016, he tells Newsmax TV.

“Look at our bench,’’ Priebus told Newsmax TV. “One of the things that we have in this party is a huge bench of talent.’’

Story continues below the video.

Selecting the right candidates for the right races will be one of the main focuses of the GOP, according to Priebus.

“I just want to make sure that we nominate the candidate that is soundest to our conservative and Republican principles — that we do our job over the next four years to expand the map,’’ Priebus said.

He said it is “really early’’ to predict how any potential GOP presidential candidates would fare against Vice President Joe Biden or former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, both of whom are being mentioned as Democratic contenders.

“I’m going to let the Democrats worry about that. As everyone knows, we’ve got our own work to do here in our party,’’ Priebus said.
