A pro-Obama group released online ads Monday targeting 11 senators who are opposed to new gun control legislation.

The ads from Organizing for Action take aim at 10 Republican lawmakers and 1 Democrat and will run on Facebook and on the pages of Internet search engines. They ask people to call their senators and tell them to support more gun control laws, Politico reports.

The Republican senators targeted include: Jeff Flake of Arizona, Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Isakson of Georgia, Dan Coats of Indiana, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Susan Collins of Maine, Dean Heller of Nevada, Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Rob Portman of Ohio, and Ted Cruz of Texas.

The lone Democrat spotlighted in the ads is Martin Heinrich of New Mexico.

“Too many Americans are dying from gun violence & Congress needs to act. Call Sen. Collins!” reads the ad targeted at Collins’ constituents in Maine.

Organizing for Action is a spin-off group from President Barack Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign that was created essentially to promote his second-term agenda. As part of its outreach on gun control, the group is teaming up with the non-profit Mayors Against Illegal Guns on April 13 in a nationwide community organizing effort aimed at putting more pressure on Congress to act.
