When President Barack Obama landed at Otis Air Force Base in Massachusetts, he was greeted by several officials.

Democratic Rep. Bill Keating of Massachusetts, Col. Francis Magurn of the Massachusetts National Guard, and Col.l Richard Sweeten of the 102nd Air Ops Group were among those present as Obama stepped off the aircraft, according to a White House news release.

But a young baby outfitted in blue and red Boston Red Sox paraphernalia really caught the president’s attention.

After jogging over to the crowd of well wishers, Obama held the baby and quipped, “I don’t usually hang out with Red Sox fans.”
