Jane Fonda, the actress once reviled as “Hanoi Jane,” displays an uncanny resemblance to Nancy Reagan in a photo from the set of the upcoming film “The Butler.”

Fonda plays the former first lady and British actor Alan Rickman portrays Ronald Reagan in “The Butler,” starring Forest Whitaker as a a White House butler who served eight presidents.

Oprah Winfrey, who plays the butler’s wife, tweeted a photo of herself and Whitaker hanging out with an in-costume Fonda and Rickman.

The film, directed by Lee Daniels and due out in 2013, is based on the career of real-life butler Eugene Allen, who spent 34 years at the White House.

Robin Williams plays Dwight “Ike” Eisenhower and John Cusack portrays Richard Nixon in the film.

Fonda, 74, reportedly only has a few scenes as Nancy Reagan, but the casting is bound to offend some conservatives. Fonda was dubbed “Hanoi Jane” for her anti-war activities during the Vietnam War.
