Most Americans believe Congress is doing a poor job of running the country, a new Rasmussen Reports poll reveals.

In a national telephone survey conducted after the election, Rasmussen found that just 10 percent of likely voters rated Congress’ job performance as good or excellent.

The vast majority of respondents — some 61 percent — said Congress is doing a poor job.

The Rasmussen survey was conducted on November 8-9 with a margin of sampling error plus or minus three percentage points.
